Now Hiring - Lawn and Landscape Business Development Representative (Base +Commission) in Pontiac, MI

The responsibility of the Business Development Representative is to acquire new Commercial and Industrial lawn maintenance, landscape, turf fertilization and snow plowing contracts. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with commercial and Industrial clients by initiating the sales of property maintenance services through networking and prospecting. This role pays a base pay plus commission pay.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop New Business through cold calling and networking
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully acquiring new contracts in lawn maintenance and snow removal services
• Build and maintain strong relations with property managers and owners
• Prospect new clients year around and build/maintain a pipeline
• Build and deliver proposals to prospect clients
• Additional responsibilities as requested or required by Management

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in business development
• Basic knowledge of lawn care and snow removal industry
• Strong decision making skills with excellent closing ability
• Detail orientated
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Efficient in time management and the ability to take initiative
• Ability to work as needed a flexible schedule to meet the business needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
